It’s pretty easy to find cannabis if you live in Newfoundland and Labrador, but you’ll have less luck getting a license to open a cannabis retail store if you want to enter the industry as an entrepreneur.

The minimum age of purchase in Newfoundland and Labrador is 19. You can possess up to 30 grams of cannabis on you at a time while in public. You can also grow up to four cannabis plants in your household.

Purchasing cannabis in-store: If you are the legal age, you can purchase cannabis products including flower, concentrates, edibles, and topicals at one of these Newfoundland and Labrador licensed cannabis retail stores.

Purchasing cannabis online: Cannabis can be purchased online from Cannabis NL. You can create an account on the website for quicker checkout, or you can just checkout as a guest. It can take up to nine days for your weed to be delivered to you. You can only utilize this resource if you have a Newfoundland and Labrador address.
